New Year
Not all English people celebrate New Year. Those who do celebrate it on the 31st of December. They usually have a New Year party at home. On that day they wish their dearest and nearest a Happy New Year. A lot of people go to Trafalgar Sguare to see the Christmas three.
In Amerika people celebrate New Year, too. They visit their relatives and friends or have parties at home. English and American people often make promises for the New Year. They promise to be more positive, to learn better or to win a competition.
In Russia New Year is the most popular holiday. Everybody waits for this holiday full of magic and hope. Grown-ups cook a lot of food. And children help them to set the table. Parents put presents for their children under the New Year tree. On the 1st of January children find and open their presents. They are very happy. New Year is the most wonderful holiday.
